One sunny day, whilst sitting upon my throne, I came to realise the similarities between my name and the activity I do best. Being the witty person I am, I have devised a way to minimise the effort required to introduce myself. With this one new word, I can not only state my name, but also the activity that I have gotten far too good at. Procrastinathan.
So on the topic of procrastinathan, the activity I partake in most often during procrastinathan is watching Youtube videos. In fact, my last post (first post) was started whilst procrastinathan during an exam block. So most definitely in my case, procrastinathan leads to good things.
Just like the video below.
King Hans apologises for the superfluous nature of this post and infers the knowledge to readers that finding synonyms for words that have otherwise straightforward if not trivial meanings is also an activity that he derives profuse enjoyment from.

First Post
So i'm well aware that as King Hans, I have not yet posted a message. Thus, this will be my first actual message for The Castle.
Aside from being 11:30 p.m and being ridiculously far past my bedtime, I seem to have some strange willpower against study. Rather, all my efforts that were originally aimed at modular entry point tables in AVR assembly language have been redirected towards watching Youtube videos. Tonight, what intrigued me enough to create my first post was the song "God of Wonders".
As I was enjoying the song, I scrolled down to the comments section. I read a few nice comments about people loving the song and wanting lyrics etc. etc. Then with the natural progression and smooth transition that is almost always evident in videos relating to a potentially controversial topic, one smarty pants non-believer writes this:
"Have you read the ontological proof for God's existance?", oh you mean the argument that goes; if you can't think of anything greater than a god then a god must exist ner ner ner ner. It is a pathetic peice of failure to reason. Can god make a rock so heavy that he can't lift it? poof! argument gone.
Now i'm sure the writer of the above must have felt extremely smart for finding a "loophole" in the Christian faith. I'm sure that he's very content with his superior reasoning skills.
In my opinion, the largest problem with both Theists and Atheists (only restricted to those who directly attack the faith) is that they seem to have a knack, a requirement if you will, for arguments based on solid reason and logic. Now don't get me wrong, I think logic, reason and rationality are things that the world needs more of; however, when it comes to faith, I do not believe that logic and reason should play as significant a part compared to say, calculus or health insurance or using calculus to optimise a certain health insurance option.
The word faith alone implies that we believe in something unseeable, untangible and "illogical". The world's definitions of what is reasonable and feasible should not and cannot(once again in my opinion) be applied to the broad concept of a faith. Just like the writer of the Youtube comment, I think all of us (including believers) fall into the mindset of thinking that anything that is not justifiable by good 'ol logic is nonsense. The object of our faith, God, does not need to be restricted by our earth-bound definitions of reason and logic.
Can god make a rock so heavy that he can't lift it?
Lift implies ability. Ability implies strength. Strength implies masculinity. Masculinity implies superiority. Since when did our alpha-male reasoning skills apply to God? Since when did not lifting something imply that you don't exist? I mean, what if He doesn't want to lift it? How then, will you know?

King Hans' first public announcement
Greetings loyal subjects.
You gathered here today have come seeking. Many have come from far and wide, searching for something humorous that may just brighten up their day. Many lead empty, burdened and unfulfilled lives and have come to Castle Hans to search for a remedy. As much as I am flattered, as a powerful leader, I am obliged to tell you the truth. The Castle of Hans is NOT a humorous place.
If you have any concerns regarding humorous content within this blog (or a lack thereof), please do not hesitate to keep those comments to yourself.
You are dismissed.
Royally Signed,
King Hans
